Who doesn’t want a perfect life and someone just as amazing to share it with. I feel like most of us do find that significant other who makes them feel loved, so what changes? Why doesn’t a relationship between two people, who love each other, work out?

Maybe, because love is just this title we give to feelings we have for someone. It is nothing more than a name that we tend to give to the sparks and the butterflies we feel for the first few weeks in a relationship, but as time goes by, those feelings subside making us assume that we are no longer in love. On the other hand, relationships are a bond, they are a responsibility you take, they are a decision that change your future, so don’t base your relationships on love; base them on trust, compatibility, understanding, and with someone you can talk to, and then base your love on that relationship.

But don’t ever sell yourself short; never believe that you deserve anything less than pure happiness. Always remember that no one will love and respect you if you can’t love and respect yourself. Know that your life is much more than just that one person and you are complete with or without that person, as long as you’re satisfied with your self and your life. Be brave enough to choose yourself, your happiness and health, above your feelings for someone.
