Hour Glass.

Have you ever observed an hour glass, how the sand seeps out from one compartment into another, no matter which way you put it. Fascinating isn’t it, but do you know what isn’t fascinating, your happiness seeping out of your life. When you have to wake up every morning and live inside an empty shell of what used to be. When you look at the ones you loved and lived for, start living for themselves, leaving you behind in times you wish you could bring back. Is love only about showing your scars? Isn’t it also about accepting the scars you have inflicted? Just because someone’s scars are not visible, just because they’ve learnt to put up a smile on their face, why does everyone assume they don’t hurt. To all those living through this, let me give you some advice, this isn’t eternal, someday this pain will end, not because everything will get better, but because someday you will realize that emotions are nothing but a weakness, a weakness you would have crushed by then.
